Azerbaijani coach to train Brazil wrestling team
Azerbaijani wrestling coach will be invited to work with the Brazil national team, while coaches representing different sports of Brazil will be working in Azerbaijan as part of the experience exchange program.
Brazilian Sport Minister Aldo Rebelo said the action plan on sport cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil would contribute to development of bilateral relations, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The Brazilian minister stressed the importance of his visit to Azerbaijan, adding that organization of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and 2015 European Games in Baku suggests joint projects will be implemented.
Rebelo also hailed Azerbaijan`s success in the field of sports.
Earlier on November 5, Azerbaijan`s Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov and the Brazilian Minister met to sign an action plan for cooperation in the field of sports.
Rahimov noted that the document would make an important contribution to further development of cooperation in the field of sports.
