Azerbaijan to build new stadium: minister
Azerbaijan will construct a new stadium with a capacity of 60,000 seats in the Boyuk Shor settlement of Baku, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov told journalists Monday.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will finance the construction operations.
The ministry also plans to build a swimming pool complex in the Boyuk Shor settlement by 2013. The complex will include three pools meeting international standards.*
