Azerbaijani grandmaster Nijat Abbasov has become the champion of an international tournament held in Turkey, Azertac reported.
After nine rounds, Abbasov scored 7.5 points.
The tournament brought together 86 chess players from more than 10 countries.
Nijat Abbasov became an International Master in 2009 and a grandmaster in 2010.
