Azerbaijan's chess player 2nd at Sharjah Cup
Azerbaijan's female chess player Khayala Abdulla won a silver medal at the 7th Sharjah Cup held in the United Arab Emirates.
Another national player Turan Asgarova ranked the 13th at the tournament, Azertac reported.
Belgian grandmaster Anna Zozulia became the winner of the Sharjah Cup.
The tournament brought together 40 female players from 13 countries, including 5 grandmasters.
The Swiss system tournament featured 9 rounds.
