French company eyes new projects in Turkmenistan
France-based industrial group Bouygues' opportunities in realizing new joint projects in Turkmenistan were mulled at the meeting of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the group CEO Martin Bouygues.
Martin Bouygues said that for his company it is a great honor to cooperate with Turkmenistan and participate in large-scale projects, the Turkmen government reported.
He said the country's favorable investment climate and optimal conditions for a fruitful partnership, made Turkmenistan extremely attractive to the business community, and today more and more leading companies express their intention to strengthen and expand presence in the promising Turkmen market.
President Berdimuhamedov, in turn, underscored the fact that while construction of new facilities the main guidelines should be advanced architectural, engineering and technical thought, and thoughtful, creative approach and active use of innovative technologies.
Martin Bouygues said his company will further continue steadily and responsibly complying with the undertaken partnership obligations.
Bouygues has long been represented on the Turkmen market. The industrial group has carried out a series of projects, which, according to various estimates, have a total value exceeding several billion dollars.
