Two quakes jolt Kyrgyzstan
Two earthquakes measuring 4.3 and 4.2 on the Richter scale were
recorded in Kyrgyzstan on July 18, Seismological Experimental
Methodological Expedition of the Science Committee under Kazakh
Education and Science Ministry reported.
The first earthquake occurred at 1:28 a.m. Greenwich time. The
epicentrer was 263 kilometres to the south- east from the city of
Almaty.
The second earthquake occurred at 4:19 a.m. Greenwich time.
The epicentre was 146 kilometres to the south from the city of
Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damages.
