International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) announced on Thursday that it is partnering with Google Cloud to launch a new Google Cloud Practice designed to help businesses scale artificial intelligence more quickly and efficiently, AzerNEWS reports, citing foreign media.

The new initiative combines IBM’s AI-powered Consulting Advantage platform with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. According to the company, the program will involve thousands of Google Cloud-certified IBM consultants and engineers working directly with clients to deploy AI solutions, modernize legacy systems, and manage complex hybrid cloud environments. IBM described this collaboration as a multi-billion-dollar opportunity for both companies.

The partnership will focus on several key areas, including production-ready AI and data solutions, industry-specific applications, cybersecurity modernization, hybrid cloud transformation, AI-driven workflow automation, and improved operational resilience and governance.

Interestingly, this move reflects a broader trend in the tech industry, where major companies are increasingly forming strategic alliances rather than competing in isolation.
