In Europe, they talked about the AI model of the fighter of the future

By Alimat Aliyeva
Initially, the artificial intelligence (AI) models in the European fighter of the future Future Combat Air System (FCS) will be "frozen", that is, they will not be trained directly in the process of performing a combat mission. Defense News writes about this, Azernews reports.
According to Thomas Grohs, head of the Future capabilities department at Airbus, chief engineer of the FCAS project, AI models for deciding whether to strike the enemy will be developed and retrained outside the board of a promising combat aircraft. Nevertheless, in the future, model training can be integrated into the aerial platform itself, which, in addition to the lead fighter, includes, in particular, guided unmanned aerial vehicles.
"I don't see much difference between the decisions that a robot or a human makes," Grohs said.
