Iran calls for expansion of trade ties with Kyrgyzstan

Iran’s new Ambassador to Bishkek Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani has
called for expansion of trade ties with Kyrgyzstan.
At a meeting with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Sharshekeev, the Iranian envoy
stressed the significance of creating a joint commerce chamber
between the two countries, Fars news agency reported.
The envoy also urged for holding Iran’s trade exhibitions in
Bishkek, the report added.
Earlier in May, Iran and the Kyrgyz Republic signed several
memorandums of
understanding (MoUs) to increase bilateral exchanges in different
fields.
The MoUs call for the formation of a joint investment council,
energy and economic cooperation, agriculture as well as scientific
and technological exchanges.
