BP says oil to dominate in world energy balance
Oil will dominate in the world energy balance until 2035 and will account for up to 29 percent of it, says Spencer Dale, group chief economist at BP.
"We expect the oil demand to rise by 20 million barrels per day throughout 20 years and reach 110 million barrels per day," said Dale during the presentation of the BP Energy Outlook 2035, in Baku May 12.
