SOCAR eyes US gas refining market
Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR is studying business opportunities of the US market in the field of gas chemistry and gas processing, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists on Wednesday.
Abdullayev said that gas price on the U.S. market will allow SOCAR to invest in gas chemical and gas processing projects in this country in the future.
He said at present SOCAR implements major petrochemical and oil refining projects in Turkey, in particular, work has been launched within construction of new oil refineries.
Active work is also underway to create a new complex for oil and gas processing and production of petrochemical products.
