Kyrgyzgaz: No failure in gas supplies from Uzbekistan
No failure is observed in gas supplies from Uzbekistan to southern Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzgas spokesperson Djaynagul Maksimova told Trend on Friday.
According to media reports, Uzbekistan decreased volume of gas supplies to southern Kyrgyzstan on Friday, which caused gas shortage in the region.
Maksimova refuted the report. "Failure in gas supplies was observed last week because of temperature drop in Uzbekistan," she said. "The problem was addressed and the supplies were stabilized," Maksimova added.
