Ukraine seeks to buy Azeri gas: paper
BAKU – Ukraine is seeking to reduce its reliance on Russian gas by imports from alternate sources including resource-rich Azerbaijan, Kommersant Ukraine newspaper quoted sources at the country’s energy ministry as saying.
Initially, Kyiv is looking to buy 5 billion cubic meters of gas per year, and is reviewing options to deliver the fuel by available terminals, the sources said.
