U.S. special energy envoy visits Turkmenistan
ASHGABAT – Richard Morningstar, the U.S. secretary of state's special envoy for Eurasian energy, is in Turkmenistan, Radio Liberty reported.
A statement from the U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat says Morningstar plans to meet with Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov to discuss energy cooperation.
High-level talks on energy issues are also planned with other Turkmen government officials.
