Ukrainian leader keen on securing Azeri energy resources
BAKU – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has met with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
President Yanukovych praised the high level of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations.
He said that his country’s task today is to work hardly to attract Azerbaijan’s energy resources.
"We hope that the first steps that were made and the first million tons of oil that has been pumped through the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline are the start of a very big project," Yanukovych said.
