BAKU – Officials of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Greece will meet in Athens on October 11 to discuss transportation of Azerbaijan’s natural gas to Europe through Turkey, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz told journalists in Ankara.
Yildiz told a news conference with his Greek counterpart Tina Birbili that Turkey and Greece would establish a working group on the issue.
The Greek minister highlighted the importance of Azerbaijani gas for Athens, saying Greece was seeking to increase gas imports.
Birbili said Greece would also cooperate with Turkey in the field of power industry in the near future.
