Azeri gas supplier sues two ministries
BAKU - Azerbaijan’s state-controlled gas supplier Azerigas has filed lawsuits against two ministries over alleged gas debt. The suits, brought against the Ministries of Defense and Culture and Tourism, will be heard in a Baku court on Thursday.
The amounts owed by the ministries are not disclosed at this point.
The Cabinet of Ministers has recently ordered to erase the arrears of numerous major companies to the state worth 1.654 billion manats (over $2.06 billion).
