SOCAR near to complete trestle overhaul at Oil Rocks field
Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR has almost completed the overhaul of a trestle at the Oil Rocks field in the Caspian Sea.
During the overhaul, 364 piles were driven in, 133 beams and girders, 120 trusses, and 613 reinforced concrete structures were installed, the company reported on September13.
The facility will be commissioned in the next few days.
SOCAR includes such production unions as Azneft (enterprises producing oil and gas onshore and offshore), Azerikimya (chemical enterprises) and Azerigas (distributor of gas produced in the country), as well as oil and gas processing plants, service companies and the facilities involved in geophysical and drilling operations.
