Finnish rhythmic gymnast: FIG World Cup Final in Baku organized at high level

Competitions as part of the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku are organized at a very high level, Finish gymnast Ekaterina Volkova told Trend July 23.
“I performed quite well today, I am satisfied,” said Volkova. “I have reached the finals with hoop, and I think that I performed well in whole.”
The gymnast added that she is in Baku for the first time and liked the city very much.
Volkova also praised the conditions created at the National Gymnastics Arena, where the competitions are being held.
“Now I am preparing for the Rio Olympics, where I expect to perform well,” added the gymnast.
The FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics will last until July 24, giving a unique opportunity to watch the performances of eminent gymnasts from 17 countries two weeks prior to the Rio Olympics.
Twenty-six gymnasts and nine teams will compete for medals in the all-around on the first two days of competitions. Apparatus finals will be held on the event’s last day.
A traditional Gala will be held on July 24, as part of the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku.
