Azerbaijan, Georgia eye military co-op
Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov had a phone call with his Georgian counterpart Tinatin Khidasheli on May 21, the ministry reported.
Khidasheli stressed that, people dying and being injured as a result of fire, which occurred in high-rise building located in Binagadi district of Baku gave a rise to a feeling of great sadness on them and expressed her deepest condolences to the family members and relatives of the victims, all the Azerbaijani people and wished the injured speedy recovery.
The Georgian minister also expressed confidence on further development of achievements and agreements gained on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of military cooperation between the two countries.
Hasanov expressed gratitude to his Georgian counterpart for attention rendered him, AzerNews state news agency reported.
