EuroAZ channel starts broadcasting via Azerspace-1

Azerbaijan's space agency Azercosmos, the premier satellite operator in the Caucasus, and EuroAZ channel have signed an agreement to broadcast the channel.
Under the agreement, EuroAZ, the first Azerbaijani channel broadcast from Europe, has started to be broadcast via Azerspace-1 satellite.
The channel is mainly broadcasting entertainment programs, such as music, feature films, animated films and serials. The channel is currently broadcast on a frequency of 11135/H/27500.
Azerspace is broadcasting over 80 TV and radio channels, covering Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and North Africa. Some 80 percent of the satellite's resources are available for commercial purposes.
Azerspace-1's term of exploitation in the orbit will be up to 15 years. Baku is expected to earn $500-600 million by operating the satellite.
