Board of Directors of Nizami Ganjavi Int’l Centre meets in Andorra
Andorra's capital city La Vella has hosted the 7th meeting of Board of Directors of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre.
The meeting was held within the international conference "Restoring confidence in Europe".
The meeting saw discussions on the activity report of the Centre for 2013-2014, the projects to be implemented in 2014-2015, as well as international events, AzerTag state news agency reported.
According to the decision of the Board of Directors, Baku will host the 3rd Global Forum of Shared Societies in April, 2015.
The next forum will be on conflicts in Europe, application of new methods in the settlement of the "frozen" conflicts, processes in Middle East and the Arabic world.
Co-Chairs of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, President of the Club de Madrid Vaira Vike-Freiberga, director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin, Speaker of Andorra's Parliament Vicen Mateu Zamora, former Prime Minister of Andorra Oscar Ribas Reig, former presidents Stephan Mesic (Croatia), Emil Constantinescu (Romania), Boris Tadic (Serbia), Petar Stoyanov (Bulgaria), as well as chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, Azerbaijani ambassador to Spain Altay Afandiyev, chairman of the Georgian University's Guardians Council Giuli Alasania and others attended the meeting.
