Flying carpets amuses Shahdag ski resort

"The shah of carpets" unique amusement and sporting event was held at the Shahdag ski resort on February 22.
The most attractive part of the event was the presentation, as participants were funny dressed and equipped with vehicles which had been manufactured themselves.
The main element of the vehicle as you may guess was the carpet in its deferent variations.
The challenge of the event was to go down from an 80-meter track, jump on a ramp into 2-meter depth pool filled with cold water.
Twenty-three teams were selected to show their creativity and recklessness. Each jump was judged by the technique of the stunt, creativity of the costumes, and performance, as well as the audience sympathy.
The event was judged by a special jury involving Philippe Gayet, the representative of the Shahdag's skiing resort, Iva Tsiklauri - Red Bull athlete from Georgia, who won of free ride (skis) championship several times and one of the most successful and creative photographers of Azerbaijan Orkhan Aslanov.
"Carpet thieves" won "the best jump" award, "Butterflies" won the creativity of costumes and performances award, and "Robo shahs" won the audience award.
The winners of the event, co-organized by the Shahdag skiing resort, were awarded with a special prizes.
"Flights" on the carpet was a unique sightseeing and unforgettable experience full of drive and extreme.
