Azerbaijani - Mozambican ties mulled
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to South Africa with concurrent accreditation to Mozambique Elkhan Polukhov has presented his credentials to President of Mozambique Armando Emílio Guebuza.
At the meeting, Polukhov said he would try his best to develop the Azerbaijan-Mozambique relations, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The ambassador conveyed greetings and an invitation letter of Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev to the Mozambican leader.
Polukhov said Azerbaijan became the regional leader after regaining the independence. He noted that founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan`s development policy, is today being successfully continued by President Aliyev.
He said Azerbaijan was ready to share its experience with Mozambique in various areas.
President Guebuza asked Polukhov to deliver his greetings to President Aliyev.
