Azerbaijani -Czech ties appraised
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Czech
Ambassador Radek Matula, who completed his diplomatic mission in
the country, on December 23.
Azerbaijan's top diplomat praised development of bilateral
relations between the two countries, and wished the ambassador
successes in his future activities.
Matula thanked the Azerbaijani government for providing excellent
conditions.
They also discussed other issues of mutual concern.
The Czech Republic recognized the independence Azerbaijan on
January 8, 1992. Diplomatic relations between two countries were
established in January 1993. Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic are
interested in future development of mutual cooperation within UN,
OSCE, NATO, EU and other international organizations.
