Three Azerbaijani mobile operators put forward their offers on deployment of Wi-Fi access points at the National Seaside Park Department (Baku Boulevard), the department said.

Azercell, Bakcell and Azerfon are ready to provide their network infrastructure for free access service to the Internet, Baku Boulevard said.

The park is currently fully covered with wireless network Wi-Fi, with over 30 Wi-Fi access points.

"The existing network infrastructure is capable of providing internet access to 1,000 users. This figure may significantly increase during the holidays, which adversely affects the quality of access. In this connection, the network can be put into operation after it is able to provide the maximum number of simultaneous connections," Baku Boulevard said.

To ensure network stability, the project plans to attract more Internet service providers. The decision will be taken at the level of Azerbaijani Economy and Industry Ministry.

The wireless access network will allow users to get free access to some online resources, including social networks and the websites of several government agencies. In addition, commercial packages may be offered to users who want to enjoy all the advantages of the network, such as watching videos and downloading content online.

The reconstruction and renovation of Baku Boulevard, the favorite place of many Baku residents and visitors, is in high gear.

Recently, it was expanded two-fold and is still getting larger and more attractive with a new exterior. The next step is to expand the boulevard towards the Zykh settlement.
