Azerbaijan, Canada discuss opportunities for cooperation
Azerbaijani ambassador to Canada Farid Shafiyev has visited Regina, Saskatchewan province, to explore ways of developing bilateral cooperation in a variety of fields this week, AzerTag state news agency reported.
During the visit, Shafiyev met Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, Ms Vaughn Solomon Schofield, Canadian provincial politician D. Wayne Elhard, Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart, as well as heads of companies and organizations in Saskatchewan.
The sides discussed bilateral economic and agrarian relations, and mutual exchange of experiences.
The ambassador also visited the Western Agribition, a large agricultural marketplace, trade show and rodeo held annually in Regina.
