Azerbaijan- UAE ties rapidly develop – envoy
Relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are rapidly developing in last years, Azerbaijani Consul General to Dubai Parviz Ismayilzade said at a meeting with Executive Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone, and Director General of Dubai Customs Ahmed Butti Ahmed, Azertag state news agency reported.
"The establishment of Azerbaijan`s Consulate General in Dubai and the opening of the first and only foreign representation of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku illustrate our close ties," he said.
Ismayilzade said ongoing socio-economic reforms under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had created favorable opportunities for business and investment in the country.
Butti Ahmed, in turn, praised Azerbaijan`s rapid development, and expressed his wish to visit the country.
They discussed the issues of export of Azerbaijani food, agriculture products and national brands to Dubai.
