President Mujica sees Azerbaijan as important country to Uruguay
Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, speaking about his country's international cooperation at local radio station M-24, praised Azerbaijan as an important country to Uruguay and touched on the prospects of cooperation with the country, the Uruguayan press said on June 13.
"Soon, we will begin to develop economic relations with a country that is important for us - Azerbaijan," President Mujica said.
This is the second statement made by Mujica in recent months about Azerbaijan.
Earlier, talking about the search for new markets, the President said they have begun to develop relations with Azerbaijan, a country with which Uruguay was not acquainted previously.
He expressed confidence in the export of goods to Azerbaijan and the implementation of measures in this direction.
