Serbian President officially welcomed in Azerbaijan
President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic was given an official
welcome in Azerbaijan on Friday, AzerTac state news agency
reported.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Serbian President at the
square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva
welcomed Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and his spouse Dragica
Nikolic.
The Heads of State passed the ceremonial Guard of Honor as an
orchestra played the national anthems of Serbia and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to
President Tomislav Nikolic, while members of the Serbian delegation
introduced themselves to President Ilham Aliyev.
The Presidents and their spouses later posed for photographs.
