Portuguese president receives credentials from new Azerbaijani ambassador
Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Tarik Aliyev
with concurrent accreditation to Portugal has presented his
credentials to President of Portugal Aníbal António Cavaco Silva,
AzerTac state news agency reported.
Aliyev spoke about the Azerbaijan-Portugal relations in political,
economic and cultural fields. He praised the cooperation of the two
countries within international organizations.
The ambassador also highlighted the Armenia-Azerbaijan
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as well as political and economic
achievement of Azerbaijan.
Portugal`s President Aníbal Silva congratulated the ambassador on
his appointment, and wish him successes during his tenure.
