Azerbaijan, Italy sign agreement on defense
An agreement on cooperation in the military field has been signed between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Italy.
The document was signed during Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev's visit to Italy, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
During the visit Abiyev held talks with his Italian counterpart, Admiral Giampaolo di Paola. The sides discussed prospects of cooperation and noted its importance.
Abiyev brought the fact of occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia to the attention of the Italian counterpart and underlined that Azerbaijan will do utmost to liberate its territories.
