Meat distributed in Pakistan on behalf of Mehriban Aliyeva

250 heads of cattle were slaughtered in Lakki Marwat Tribal Area and 100 in Paraka-ho, Saidpur and Haripur villages of Punjab province of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and distributed among 30 000 poor people on behalf of President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan's First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
Azerbaijani embassy in Pakistan told APA news agency that the
solemn ceremony organized in Lakki Marwat was attended by famous
members of Saifullah family - chairman of Pakistan Muslim
Solidarity League, famous politician, former minister for trade and
oil, former chairman of the Senate's foreign relations committee
Salim Saifullah Khan, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa President Anwar Saifullah Khan, senator Osman Saifullah
Khan, member of the National Assembly Humayun Saifullah Khan,
political and religious figures of the region and media
representatives.
Salim Saifullah Khan spoke about the friendship and brotherhood
between the two countries, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Pakistan's
position on the conflict.
Addressing the event Ambassador Dashgin Shikarov congratulated
the participants on Eid al-Adha on behalf of the Azerbaijani state.
The diplomat gave detailed information about the large-scale
projects implemented in Azerbaijan and abroad by President of
Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador,
member of parliament, Mehriban Aliyeva.
Shikarov also visited the Women's and Children Hospital in Lakki
Marwat financed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, gave presents to
the patients and medical staff on behalf of Azerbaijan's First Lady
Mehriban Aliyeva.
