Turkey's Erdogan to discuss regional situation during Azerbaijan visit
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to discuss the situation in the region during his visit to Azerbaijan, Erdogan told media before flying to the country, Turkish TV channel TRT Haber reported Tuesday.
Erdogan said that Turkey has always supported and will continue to back Azerbaijan.
The Turkish prime minister starts his visit to the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Tuesday. The agenda of the visit includes his participation at the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting and signing of several bilateral documents.
Besides Baku, he intends to visit the Azerbaijani northwestern regions of Sheki and Zagatala.
The delegation also includes Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Caglayan and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz.
