Lithuania, Azerbaijan to sign deal on emergencies
Lithuania will sign an agreement on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of internal affairs and emergencies, Lithuanian Interior Minister Arturas Melianas told reporters in Baku on Thursday.
The cooperation will be in various forms, including training and joint activities in emergency situations.
Melianas said the two countries have been successfully cooperating in various fields.
The Lithuanian minister intends to hold a number of meetings with Azerbaijani officials and discuss issues of political and economic cooperation.
Melianas arrived in Baku to attend a meeting of the CIS Interior Ministers Council.
