Tram line to be restored in Baku
A tram line will be restored in Baku under the White City project which envisions a tram route stretching along the seaside park, Transport Ministry spokesman Namig Hasanov said.
However, street-cars’ operating on the main streets of the Azerbaijani capital is impossible, he said.
Hasanov added that the use of trams will be beneficial both in terms of the environment and "exotic looks".
