BAKU – Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, who is in Paris to attend festivities dedicated to the 65th anniversary of UNESCO, visited the design studio and theater of world-famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin at his invitation on Monday.

Speaking about the clothing and accessories displayed at his studio, Cardin comprehensively briefed visitors on the Pierre Cardin brand, which has been in existence for decades.

The Azerbaijani First Lady, a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, was impressed by the topnotch clothing showcased at the studio.

Further, Aliyeva watched a ballet staged at Cardin’s theater.

Cardin has been listed as one of the most well-known French people since the 1960s. Over 160 million people in the world prefer his brand, which is considered a symbol of French elegance. Up to 200,000 people are employed by businesses operating under the Pierre Cardin trademark in 140 countries.

Cardin’s scope of activity is not confined to the world of fashion. He is also involved in the fields of transport, architecture and advertising. The trademark also covers restaurants, theaters, perfume, watches and various accessories.
