Japan’s Fujifilm corrects error on Azeri territory
BAKU – According to the information provided by the Azerbaijani embassy in Japan, it was revealed that information on the territory of Azerbaijan has been distorted on "MyFinePix.com" website owned by famous Japanese company Fujifilm.
Azerbaijani embassy in Japan told that the company had included Nagorno-Karabakh as a state in the list of countries in its website and the embassy immediately reacted to this issue.
Noting that it contradicts the international legal norms, the embassy made written position on the basis of interrogatory of Japanese side and submitted it to the opposite side by adding appropriate maps.
Information given to the embassy revealed that representation of Fujifilm company in Great Britain obtained information from different sources while launching the website and it did not concern Japanese Headquarters directly.
After interference of the embassy, Fujifilm corrected the distorted information and sent an appropriate letter to the embassy.
