Read moreAt the invitation of General Colonel Ruslan Jaksılıkov, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the brotherly country to observe the "United - 2024" international operational-tactical command-staff exercise, Azernews reports.
At Aktau International Airport, General Colonel Z. Hasanov was welcomed by his Kazakh counterpart, General Colonel R. Jaksılıkov.
During the official welcoming ceremony held at the airport, the defense ministers passed in front of the honor guard. Accompanied by a ceremonial military orchestra, the national anthems of both countries were played.
As part of the visit, the Minister of Defense will observe episodes of the "United - 2024" exercise at the "Oymaşa" training ground and the Tokmak Cape in the Caspian Sea.
