Azerbaijani citizen steps on landmine
On October 26, at about 07:00 (GMT+4), Elchin Valiyev, born in 1970 and a resident of the Talysh village, Terter district, has stepped on an anti-personnel mine, the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan told Azernews.
Valiyev was immediately taken to the hospital. As a result of his injuries, one of his arms was amputated.
The fact is under investigation.
The Press Service of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) has also issued information regarding the incident and called on citizens to avoid entering hazardous areas, behave responsibly, and adhere to the required safety regulations!
