Armenian mines found in river defused

Three anti-tank mines that have been brought by a stream of waters
to the Khachin river crossing a village in Azerbaijan’s Terter
region located on the frontline with Armenia were found Wednesday,
the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) said.
A total of 20 mines have been brought to the river bank by torrential waters as a result of heavy rainfall in Azerbaijan over the past few days and were rendered harmless, the source said.
Terter officials said two weeks ago that Armenians are taking advantage of flooding rivers and are floating mines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) toward Azerbaijani territory.
