Modular schools to appear in country

New type of schools will appear in Azerbaijan in the form of portable buildings.
Modular schools will be established in Lerik, Ismayilli, Saatli, Yardimly and Lankaran regions, Trend reported.
The portable buildings will be installed at a school to temporarily and quickly provide additional classroom space in cases of shortage of capacity.
These premises can be later deconstructed once they become of no need due to reduced capacity of an education institution, for ex., after opening of a new school building, or fall in number of students.
The modular school buildings have definite privileges ranging from low cost and easy construction, to ability to relocate in a short time.
Portable classrooms may also be used if permanent classrooms are uninhabitable, such as after a fire or during a major refurbishment.
For instance, the Education Ministry reported that about 650 schools are in need of repair. Such schools are mainly located in Jalilabad, Sheki, Gusar, Guba and Shamakhi regions.
