Azerbaijan’s honorary consulate to appear in Australia
Azerbaijan’s Honorary Consulate will be opened in the Australian city of Perth – the biggest city and capital of the Western Australia, the Azerbaijani parliament’s press service reported.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Australia will hold an event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence in Western Australia.
Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s International and Interparliamentary Relations Committee Samad Seyidov, Head of the Working Group on Interparliamentary Relations with Australia and New Zealand Khanlar Fatiyev and member of the working group Asim Mollazade will visit Australia on October 15-24 to take part in the event and the opening of the Honorary Consulate.
Azerbaijani delegation will also have meetings with representative of the Australian government and parliament during the visit.
The economic development and innovation in Australasia and Oceania are of special interest to Azerbaijan, especially in the times of the economic diversification.
