Mammadov: Some diplomats don’t realize culpability for world situation

Some diplomats still fail to realize that they’re among the reasons for world being in this situation, Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijani presidential administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department, tweeted on October 4.
Mammadov said the US ambassador to the OSCE, Daniel Baer’s interview demonstrates that in the OSCE, he acts like a First Secretary, just like in Soviet times.
“He must know that the president didn’t and never would mention him. The president referred to the US ambassador to the OSCE,” Mammadov added.
“Why is he in search of facts?! Known event requires no fact-checking,” he said. “Take a look at Baer’s Twitter. Day can’t go by without lies and denigration about Azerbaijan coming out of his mouth.”
“By now Baer has belabored the term international law,” Mammadov said. “But no one heard him using the same term about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. What a classic case of barking at the moon.”
