Shahdag sees snowfall

Unstable weather was observed in Azerbaijan on September 28. Heavy raining and lightning hit the capital city and many regions, the National Department for Hydrometeorology reported.

About 18-65 mm of precipitation fell in Baku and Absheron peninsula, while 3-4 mm in Greater Caucasus, 3-29 mm in Central Aran regions.

Some 11-39 mm of precipitation fell in Lankaran-Astara region, 7-18 mm in Lesser Caucasus, 2-6 mm in Gazakh-Ganja region, 1-7 mm in Nakhchivan AR.

Height of snow cover reached 1 cm in Shahdag.

The weather will be changeable cloudy on September 29 .

North-west wind will blow and die down in the second half of a day.

The temperature is expected +15-17˚C at night, +18-22˚C the afternoon in Absheron peninsula, +15-17˚C at night, +20-22˚C in the afternoon in Baku. Air pressure records 766.

Relative humidity will be around 85-95% at night, 60-70% in the afternoon.

The intermittent rain and lightening is expected in the regions of Azerbaijan

West wind will blow and intensify in some places in daytime.

The temperature will be +11-16˚C at night, +19-24˚C in the daytime, +3-8 ˚C in mountainous areas, +9-14˚C in the daytime.
