Azerbaijan`s tank crew has produced successful results at a Tank biathlon contest held as part of the International Army Games–2016 held in Russia,” the Defense Ministry said. In the international competition, which was attended by 54 tank crews from 17 countries, Azerbaijani tank crew ranked seventh in the overall table and fifth in the ranking for the best crew.

“Azerbaijani tank crew, which participated in this competition for the first time, performed a variety of tasks at a high level, skillfully destroyed all the targets and overcame obstacles. The ability and professionalism of our tank crew, which outclassed the Armenian team in the overall figures, was highly appreciated by the jury and arbiters of the competition as well as by specialists and experts,” the Ministry said.
