Armenian leadership resorts to further provocative actions

The military-political leadership of Armenia resorts to further provocative actions aimed at aggravating the situation on the contact line of the Azerbaijani and Armenian armed forces, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on September 25.
“The information disseminated by the enemy on the conduct of training flights in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan with the involvement of military aviation is a clear proof of this,” the statement noted.
The ministry pointed out that any enemy aircraft that would attempt to approach the advanced positions of the Azerbaijani Army units will be immediately neutralized. All responsibility for possible losses falls on the military-political leadership of Armenia, the statement says.
Armenia broke out a lengthy war against Azerbaijan by laying territorial claims on the country. Since a war in the early 1990s, Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan’s territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions. More than 20,000 Azerbaijanis were killed and over 1 million were displaced as a result of the large-scale hostilities.
To this day, Armenia has not implemented four UN Security Council resolutions on withdrawal of its armed forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding regions.
