Azerbaijani theater director joins jury of int'l competition
Director of Azerbaijan State Musical Theatre Aligismet Lalaev
was invited to participate as a jury member in the Sixth
International Competition of Young Artists of Operetta and Musical
named after People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Kurochkin, which
will be held on the stage of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theatre
of Musical Comedy in Yekaterinburg, from May 16-21, 2016.
Chairman of the jury is People's Artist of the Russian Federation,
famous singer and actor Victor Krivonos.
The contest has two nominations: Vocal-Stage Art - Operetta and
Vocal-Stage Art – Musical and is aimed at recognizing the brightest
and most talented young performers and representatives of the
various national, theatrical and vocal schools and stimulating
creative activity of young people in the theater, music and theater
education.
