Dreams of Childhood in Paris

France’s romantic capital Paris will host an exhibition of Azerbaijani artist Nigar Narimanbayova. The solo exhibition will be held in the International Art Gallery on March 5.

An official opening day, which will be attended by special guests and artistic elite of Paris will be held on March 7. The exhibition will run until March 16.

“Georges Levy, the director of the gallery likes my creativity. He suggested to me to feature two series of my works including “All life is a Theater”, and “Dreams of Childhood” at the exhibition,” Narimanbayova said.

The artist’s works have been featured in many famous European art projects so far including “World’s artists” in Cannes and Monaco, as well as “ART EN CAPITAL” in the Grand Palais, "Salon Business Art " (2013/2014) at the Centre Pierre Cardin in Paris, at an international exhibition of modern arts in Paris and others.

“At the personal exhibition there are works which have been already warmly recognized by public including 'Harlequin and Ballerina', 'The Illusion of Fight', 'Soul', 'Apotheosis of Love', 'Nostalgia', 'Still Life with night elves,' 'Girl - Night' and others," said the artist.

Narimanbayova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, has been graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography after Gerasimov in Moscow.

She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

Narimanbayova is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art. Her paintings have been put on display at the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan, and private collections.
