The fifth international Kavkaz Jazz Festival is running in Tbilisi.

The festival that will last till July 19 traditionally consists of master classes for beginners, jazz concerts, daily concerts and jam sessions.

The Azerbaijani, Georgian, Armenian and Poland musicians will join the festival. Azerbaijani music critic Turan Mamedalieva, art-director Sabina Jamuzada, musicians Elbey Mamedzade and Eljan Jabrayilov will take part at the event.

This year, the festival will include a series of discussions with the participation of leading experts, managers of culture and art critics. The discussions will be focused on challenges of the music market in the South Caucasus.

Kavkaz Jazz Festival is the only non-profit jazz festival in Georgia, which is educational and serves to popularize jazz.

The organizer of the project is a non-governmental organization called "Art Bridge". Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection and the Center of cultural events of Tbilisi City Hall also played a key role in holding the festival.

The first Kavkaz Jazz Festival was held by the support of U.S. embassies in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan in 2010.
